out of the blue…just the way i like it
i’m really glad that i too the chance to do this! Haha, if you’re wondering what? I spent the afternoon to celebrate my friend, Ah Keat’s birthday today. It was a spontaneous decision…i love doing thing spontaneously.
It all began, during lunch time, Kuok Zheng told me that Ah Keat’s birthday was yesterday and he was going to celebrate with Voon Joon. Damn. I told myself i wanted to wish him happy birthday. Too late, immediately i felt terrible. He was so nice to remember my birthday but i forgot his. I’m bad…so bad
Anyways, i wanted to make up for it. Yup, i decided to join Voon Joon and Kuok Zheng to celebrate his birthday. It was a surprise! I was so excited, i haven’t done anything like this before. First, haven’t gone anywhere further than Mid Valley with my friends. (furthermore, it’s all guys!) Secondly, i have not stayed out for more than tea with friends. This is my very first!! So, explains why my happiness and excitement.
It’s settled. I hurried home to let my parents know and get their ‘precious’ permission. Surprisingly, i got it! Haha. Hard to believe. The next thing i knew, i was already in the car on the way to meet up with Ah Keat. Thank goodness, my friends had ‘dependable’ driving skills. We reached our destination…the problem is finding this guy in such a busy town.
We were a bunch of idiots, searching for him in food courts. I tell you, my two crazy friends started callng his name everywhere. There is something called handphone la. This is a very, very busy township.
Finally, i spotted him. He was with another two friends, Hoe Kee and Shia Mink. Surprise, surprise. Didn’t expect to meet them there, i was alittle dumbfounded. But, slowly i warmed up and there we was chatting away happily. Next stop, we went to his house to have cake. Yeah…birthday cake! But alas, they weren’t hungry. They just had lunch…haih.
After Hoe Kee and Shia Mink left, we played card games. Bluff was the game, ever heard of it? Interesting, we played for quite awhile before we decided it was dinnertime. We packed up and went to a small foodcourt. I have to tell you, throughout the whole day all they talked about were mainly cars. They could go on for hours!! Finally, after dinner, it was cake cutting time. Chocolate cake, very nice! Then, off we go home to home sweet home.
We all had a great time. Given another chance, i would love to do this again another time. Happy belated birthday, Wai Keat!
That’s all. -ailing- signing out.good nitez~
